本来なら、今頃は欧州糖尿病学会にいく準備をしている時期でした。ウイーンにいくはずでしたが、今年は下記の画像のように、ネット上での学会になっています。特に話題となっているのが、Digital Health、日本語に略すと、デジタル健康、つまり、医療活動のIT化がテーマとなっていました。

もちろん、これはオンライン診療や、オンライン相談、などが、全世界中の注目の的になってきているという事です。本来なら、さほど注目されないこの話題が、9月23日、Wels Hallという場所で議論されるようです。ウイーンに行けるものなら、行って聴講してきたのですが、帰国してから2週間、外来を休むことはできません。

「iryoo.jp  」のような、デジタル交流プラットフォームを自作で創るという事は、けっして変人が考える事ではなく、世界の潮流としては、「最先端の科学的研究者」が行うべきテーマである、という事を、ご理解いただければ幸いです。

私の研究テーマは、時代時代ごとに違います。かつては、糖尿病神経障害、患者教育、ミトコンドリア糖尿病、I型糖尿病、SMBG、医療情報発信プラットフォームの構築、などでした。日本医科大学の客員教授時代は、ミトコンドリア糖尿病から、水素の研究にいたるまで、幅を広げて考えていました。今は、一介の「内科の開業医」ですが、個人事業主として、自由な活動をしています。
